The VNA of Eastern Massachusetts thrives on one simple directive: “To provide the level of service and care, as well as a wonderful home, that we would be delighted to have for our own loved ones.”
Linda S. Cornell – President and CEO
Linda S. Cornell has been President and CEO of the Visiting Nurse Association of Eastern Massachusetts and its affiliates since 1985. What began as a passion for nursing has evolved into over 35 years of experience developing, managing and delivering innovative health care and housing models for seniors and disabled persons in the community.
Ms. Cornell has built the VNA organization into one that prides itself on pushing the envelope. In addition to bringing to life its vision of supportive living communities, Ms. Cornell and her team incorporated the latest in sustainable and renewable technologies to one of the deepest “green” buildings in the region. The VNA buildings utilize solar power, rain harvesting systems and co-generation of electricity to create a healthier living and working environment for both residents and staff.
Ms. Cornell is a well-known and respected figure in the community and has built strong bridges to local and statewide offices. The VNA takes great pride in being the “go to” agency that everyone calls when they need help locating excellent home care services or finding a “great place to call home” for their aging parents, relatives or disabled friends or neighbors in the community.
